japanese pottery

i am deeply devoted to japanese ceramics - including korean and chinese works - and, after more than forty years as a collector of these remarkable and exquisite antiques, i have developed considerable expertise in the field.
i find it difficult to part with my finest pieces ... nevertheless, i make a deliberate effort to place them with individuals who will truly appreciate their artistic and cultural significance.
please remark, that i am not a professional antique dealer, but rather a connoisseur who seeks to share these treasures with others.

ceramics as art

asian ceramics in general - whether pottery, earthenware, stoneware, crockery, or porcelain - are highly appreciated.
in particular, japanese and korean ceramics used in tea ceremonies are greatly valued and held in high esteem. their value is therefore not merely monetary, but also cultural and historical, and often deeply personal.
even so, i prefer to use the pieces from my collection in everyday life, whether for eating, for drinking tea informally, or for the japanese and korean tea ceremonies, as well as chinese gongfu cha.

finally, i'm not a professional antique dealer, but rather a connoisseur who wants to share my treasures with others
